Health Tip: 02/27/2012 in Effingham IL
Even though I do not like to admit it, we are still going to be in cold and flu season for several more weeks. And for a lot of you all the sniffling, sneezing, and sinus headaches that go along with the season are starting to wear on your last nerve. So over the next 4 weeks I am going to give you some tips to boost your immune system in Effingham IL so you can get through these next few months feeling like a new person. This week I want you to think about how much water you have been drinking. If you are like most people I know, drinking water is not something you do very much of. We do not drink as much water as we should during the winter months and our bodies tend to lack hydration. Dehydration lowers our immune systems ability to fight off disease, so try to increase your water consumption over the next several weeks. At a minimum I recommend 20-40 oz. a day and if you are already doing that 60-80 oz would be even better. And remember soda does not count as water, but nice try. I recommend the santevia water system as well. It is very important that your water be slightly basic and this system is cheap and easy. Check it out on our online store page.
